My Playlists

  • Cavern Collective Goth and all things bat-winged and dark.
  • Chain & Key Emo/hard-rock/metal playlist. Kind of a catch-all for alternative music with a lot of guitar and drums.
  • 3am On The Interstate Nighttime highway hypnosis in a pre-cyberpunk movie.
  • Standing In The CD Aisle Listening to indie/grundge while flipping through CD's in a dimly lit record store.
  • Wash The Youth Classic-rock playing at a dive bar.
  • The Quintessence Of Life The title of this playlist is a reference to the movie: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. If you haven't seen it yet, especially if you have a tendency of maladaptive daydreaming, you should go watch it. This playlist is my collection of songs that remind me of it.
  • Lay Me In The Woods Hozier's woodland faery court soundtrack.
  • Sun Down In Summer What a warm, cotton-candy-skies summer sounds like with your friends.
  • Lithium Ethereal synth pop, reminiscent of my late high school days.
  • FREE RAGE Hyperpop zoomies that held my sanity down during the start of my college years.

2023

2023 wasn't a very music-heavy year for me because I was so busy with life and changes going on. I finished school and walked in the summer and then the rest of the year I was spending time with my family and hanging out with them because for the last four years I've been out of state and would only see them over break, so I spent a lot of time catching up with them and watching shows with my dad and not listening to music for hours on end.

Favorite Songs:

I got heavily back into Pierce the Veil late in the year because I saw them live and first of all, best show I've been to hands-down, second of all, I got to see the live debut of Resilience, So Far So Fake, and The Jaws of Life!!!! And, according to setlist.fm, I saw Besitos performed live for the first time since 2013... O.o crazy how long ago that is now. I was tripping the whole time thinking about how I've been listening to them for over a decade now, because that makes it over half my lifetime.
